  • Presentation Dinner
Published by Tim Boase at March 23, 2016

2015 club champions Rob, Gary and GlennFriday the 11th of March saw Ipswich and District Rifle Club hold its annual presentation dinner. The event, held at the Prince Alfred Hotel, was a great success. There was a terrific turn out for the function with a great number of members and their family packing the venue. There were 19 prize recipients in total. This is certainly a testament to the vast scope of shooting talent in the club. Congratulations to Target rifle champions Rob Rush and Gary Morrison representing A and B grade respectively. Also congratulations go to Glenn Rush, F-Class champion and Josh Pratt, U/25 champion. Special mention must go to Michael Halpin, Craig Pratt and Josh Pratt who were all recipients of prizes in their first full season with the club.

Upon reflection of the success during the 2015 season there is certainly no quandary in saying the future looks bright for Ipswich and District Rifle Club. There is clearly a bevy of talent jostling for a position at the front of the pack. Beyond doubt 2016 will be a season to watch with eager anticipation. We wish all members every success in the year to come.
