As the annual prize meeting opportunities rise and rise throughout the year, Michael S. has chosen to throw his hat in the ring in F/TR class at the NSWRA 150th Kings Prize Series 2026 (click the link to follow the results)

Consistent testing and improving is translating to consistent scores and improving results in the heat of the competition.

DAY 1 – At the end of day 1, Michael holds 2nd in F/TR. Well done Michael. (*photo)

Best of luck and trust your instinct over the coming ranges.

Photo: See! I told you. No hat. He really ‘threw it in the ring’. Great smile. More of those please!
Well done Michael!

DAY2 – Day 2 and Michael lands 1st place in the Day 2 Aggregate in F/TR. 2nd in the McIntosh. Congratulations, Michael! (*photo)

And we are not done yet with Michael continuing to hold 2nd in the Grand Agg.

Best of luck tomorrow.

DAY3 – With the McIntosh completed, Day 3 sees the first day of the Kings and the arrival of many more experienced campaigners.

Scores are tight at the top, but Michael S. captured a 3rd at the first of the two 15 shot matches at 600 and ends the day holding 3rd in the Grand Agg.

DAY4 – Day 4 brings on the Second day of the Kings and today is redemption day. Having closed the prior day at 13th in the Kings Day 1 Agg, Michael resolved to redress the situation firing a 60.8 at the 700 in the morning taking a range win (*photo), 3rd at the first 800 1 point off the lead, and 5th at the second 800 again only 1 point off the lead.

The outcome:
Michael takes the Kings Day2 Agg 1st place by 11 centres, back on top of the podium. (*photo)
Back up to 8th in the Kings Agg
and clawed back 2nd place in the Grand Agg.
Today was an awesome day. Well done Michael. Rest well and do what you do best again tomorrow.

Well done Michael. Great effort over the whole series.
