Mark Kruger is going to run a Marksmanship Foundations Program shooting course on the 19th July, 9am start.

This course will be free to all IDRC members and $20 for non-members (cash payment only, due on the day).

Mark Kruger’s extensive marksmanship and coaching background is military:

  • Small Arms Coach of 30 years,
  • Senior Coaching Instructor of 25 years,
  • Member and coach of unit shooting teams for 10 years,
  • Member Army Shooting Team (international level) 10 years and
  • Coach for Army Shooting Team 25 years

COURSE AGENDA:

Shooting Foundations

Module 1 – 50 minutes approx.
Marksmanship Principles
Sequence of shot release
Use of the sling as an aid to steadiness

Module 2 – 40 minutes approx.
Theory of the group
Factors that affect the theory of the group
Zeroing

Module 3 – 40 minutes approx.
Application of fire
Factors affecting the application of fire

Conclusion – As long as it takes.
Great group, question time, just in the wrong place.

Ipswich & District Rifle Club Inc. is located on SSAA’s ‘Stewartdale‘ Target Sports Complex at Ripley in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia (approximately 40 minutes west of Brisbane and only 40 minutes drive from the Belmont Shooting Complex, the home of the Queensland Rifle Association).

Ipswich & District Rifle Club Inc. is also conveniently located just 15 minutes drive from both the RAAF Base Amberley and Springfield’s Orion Shopping Centre.
