IPSWICH & DISTRICT RIFLE CLUB INC.

Published by David Nicol at March 17, 2026

Ipswich & District Rifle Club extends its heartfelt thanks to Glenn Rush, who has concluded an extraordinary sixteen‑year tenure as Club Captain.

Glenn’s leadership has shaped every part of the club’s growth—from major range and clubhouse upgrades to the expansion of rimfire and sporter programs, strengthened community partnerships, and a culture of volunteering that continues to define the club.

As Glenn noted in his final report, “our greatest asset remains our members and the service and sacrifice they are willing to give.”

At Saturday’s AGM, we were proud to confirm Tim Boase, our long‑serving Vice Captain, as the new Club Captain.

Tim brings deep experience, strong commitment, and the respect of the membership, ensuring a smooth and positive transition for the 2026 season and beyond.

Please join us in thanking Glenn for his outstanding service and congratulating Tim as he steps into this important role.

IDRC welcomes new Club Captain - Timothy Boase
