IPSWICH & DISTRICT RIFLE CLUB INC.
✕
Published by David Nicol at December 19, 2025

The Ipswich and District Rifle Club extends its deepest sympathies to the victims and their families, of the tragic events at Bondi on Sunday.

The incident which has been declared as an act of terrorism, degrades the true freedoms of our great nation.

The Ipswich & District Rifle Club unites with all to express’s our concern about the emergency gun laws currently being proposed by national cabinet.
Further information to follow.

At this time it is important for all members to look to our elected leaders for their advice and leadership and direction and continue to conduct ourselves in the way that supports our sporting society and refrain from being drawn into speculative debate.

Please take a moment to read and reflect on the releases from our national representatives of the NRAA:

and our State representatives of the Queensland Rifle Association:

Our Club Executive Committee are endeavouring to remain involved in the QRA and NRAA conversations as well as seeking to communicate our position directly to our political representatives .

We will issue further information as it is disseminated and verified.
