The weekend saw Ipswich and District Rifle Club hold it’s annual open prize meet. Despite trying conditions throughout the day it was a huge success. There were seventy-nine competitors in all and a whopping 18 Ipswich members stepping out on the range to represent the club. Everything ran smoothly with a minimum of fuss. There is no doubt this was due the fact that so many volunteers answered the call to organise the day, prepare the range, manage equipment and staff the canteen. A sincere and resonant ‘Thank you!’ to all who helped out!
