Ipswich and District Rifle Club was pleased to host the first round of the 2026 SEDRA competition.
This year SEDRA Round 1 commenced proceedings at the 800m mound adjacent to the club house.
South Ripley had presented somewhat mixed and challenging conditions in the early part of this year, in the afternoons. Fortunately for all, the overcast conditions presented a cooler day than recent weeks. Although SEDRA is generally conducted in the morning, there was still enough "South Ripley" in the wind to keep the wind coach and their shooter alert and concentrating hard.
A 'nod and tip of the hat' to the team coaches and organisers.
It is wonderful to see new young competitors on the mound getting expert coaching, experiencing the competition & travel, engaging in club representation and learning the acquired skill of Teams Shooting.
Welcome to Full Bore!
We are all looking forward to Round 2.
